This course focuses on setting up and operating large-scale conference audio systems. Students will be instructed on various digital console workflows, integrating loudspeaker management processing, applying advanced acoustic theory for room tuning, aiming PAs, advanced mic-ing techniques for presenters and instruments, and managing event flow with multiple inputs.
To qualify for the Advanced Audio – Control course, students must have completed the Intermediate Audio course, have a minimum of 400 hours of supervisor-approved hands-on experience with operating audio equipment at the Intermediate Audio level, or have completed the Advanced Audio – System Design course.
