Description

This course focuses on the top-down approach used to plan an appropriate large-scale conference visuals system. Equipping students with the knowledge and design tools necessary for the task, the course instruction will focus on room analysis (focusing on ambient lighting, space, and audience spread), advanced visual perception theory, large-scale system distribution, equipment selection, integration management and budget optimization.

To qualify for the Advanced Video – System Design course, students must have completed the Intermediate Video course, have a minimum of 400 hours of supervisor-approved hands-on experience with operating audio equipment at the Intermediate Video level, or have completed the Advanced Video – Screen Management course.
