Building on the Basic Lighting course, the Intermediate Lighting course equips students with the ability to operate medium-to-large breakout rooms, as well as setup complex lighting systems in large conference spaces. Students will learn in-depth lighting theory, control and power routing, effective application of luminance and optics principles, and practical considerations for setting up larger lighting systems. In addition, students will get hands-on time with advanced programmable fixtures, advanced consoles, and rigging equipment

To qualify for the Intermediate Lighting course, students must have completed the Basic Lighting course, or have a minimum of 200 hours of supervisor-approved hands-on experience with operating lighting equipment at the Basic Lighting level.
