Building on the Basic Video course, the Intermediate Video course equips students with the ability to operate medium-to-large breakout rooms, as well as setup complex visual systems in large conference spaces. Students will learn in-depth video theory, signal processing and distribution, input/output framerate matching, scaling and practical considerations for setting up larger video systems. In addition, students will get hands-on time with advanced switching interfaces, screen management systems, and output devices such as large-format projectors.

To qualify for the Intermediate Video course, students must have completed the Basic Video course, or have a minimum of 200 hours of supervisor-approved hands-on experience with operating visual equipment at the Basic Video level.
